My Faith
Twenty years ago, I made what I thought was an impossible goal with God. The whole next year was terrifyingly surreal, lonely and hard. Exactly one year later, to the day, God came through for me and my family in a very personal and powerful way. He worked what seemed to me to be an impossible miracle. I have never been the same since then.
I learned through that experience that God is not only aware of our struggles but he is in them with us. That He knows our hearts, that he can part the Red Sea’s of life, and bring us safely through them. The funny thing is that when I made this goal, I didn’t think much of it. I just wrote it on a peice of paper, but I wanted it with all of my heart and soul. That was the beginning of a beautiful journey of faith for me. Faith in God and faith in His generous and abundant nature. The apostle Paul said this of God,
“And now unto Him, who is able to do exeeding abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that worketh in us.”
Over the next decade my confidence in God’s love and generosity grew tremendously. I’ve learned from my experiences that God desires our success even more than we do! And that through God we really can do all things! A man I dearly love, named Richard G. Scott, once said this,
“Our Heavenly Father did not put us on earth to fail but to succeed gloriously.”
And so I invite you, my dear friend, to do that new thing, that will require your faith to stretch and grow. I invite you to take God’s hand and move into the bright future God has for YOU! Your bright future is there for the having! Your journey will not be without it’s struggles and disappointments but it will come with just a little perseverance and faith in Your True Self and God!
Warm Regards,
Tricia
